Good Practice Techniques in Music Education for Young People with Autism - OGME

Young people with autism often face barriers to full participation in educational and cultural experiences, including music education. Providing them with tools to understand, express, and develop their musical abilities can significantly enhance their cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Music can become a powerful means of communication, inclusion, and empowerment.

TheOGME projectoffers an innovative solution to support music educators across Europe in delivering inclusive, engaging, and effective music education for young people with autism. By sharing expertise, tools, and real-life examples, OGME aims to bridge the gap between music education and the specific needs of neurodivergent learners.

The project will produce a total of:

Digital Guide for educators and families

Video tutorials
and best practices

Interactive
music game

OGMEalso aims to create a professional community of music educators working with neurodivergent youth across EU countries, encouraging collaboration, knowledge exchange, and ongoing improvement in inclusive music education.
